Posted by Ronald on February 22, 2019 at 2:15 pmIn the attached picture can someone tell what the switch controls? I do not find a description in the part list that follows the image.

Hard to see but it looks like the switch to control your docking and cornering lights. Flip it to Dock and see if the lights on the side of the bus come on (should be one on the door and one before the drive axle on each side of the bus). In the cornering position, the light on the front comes on with the corresponding turn signal.

Ron,
My dash looks a little different but I have two of those lighted rockers in the chassis climate control area. One is to turn on the dash ac compressor and the other one turns on the coolant booster pump for the dash heat. The pump is on the ceiling of the basement mid ship.

I have a similar switch on my console and it switches the radio from internal to external speakers but it is well labeled. The external speakers are also long gone so it’s just a worthless switch!

From experience I can say that Prevost made changes to dash layouts as the coaches evolved, but converters almost always made modifications to the dash layouts to suit their needs.
Unless someone has the exact model year coach, with similar Prevost options, and the same converter, and possibly the same model from the converter it is likely switches may have to be identified by trial and error.
There is one possible way to make the process easier and that is to pull the switch and find the wire numbers. Prevost and converters have numbered their wires and they have usually been consistent. Then chase down the circuit number to determine the switch function.
