If that’s the case … what do the medium duty trucks and vocational chassis do?

There are no definitive explanations for the difference between light and heavy #2 diesel fuels, however there are indications, not confirmed that light #2 might be a winter blend that contains #1 diesel.
Maybe someone else can dig up something from a search, but I came up empty because most of the discussions and descriptions appear to be nothing but opinion.

That’s been around for years. If the vehicle is over 26,000# you have to pay the higher price. However, RV’s are exempt and you pay the light truck fee.

I prepaid for 400. went out to the heavy pump and tried to pump . the pump wasn’t working ,went back inside and told them pump wasn’t working they told me is was now and was showing pumping. went back out and pump wasn’t working went back inside and asked for a refund . the. cashier came out and verified the pump wasn’t working , he said to use #2 light, I said what the heck is that never heard of that ever. he said it was the same as heavy but didn’t have all the road tax…. it’s for vehicles under 26500 ….

Around $3.20 up here in the tundra too….what a rip off with the crude prices so low. Gas is about $2.18 as of yesterday.

Mark, you know it is more expensive to deliver fuel up in the frozen north. Before they can even empty the tanker they have to warm up the fuel that has gelled in the tank.

Diesel is cheap here in TX unless you go to Pilot/Flying J! $2.40 range at most fuel stations and $33 at PFJ. Paying for convenience really sucks!

Tom, quit whining, I have seen you pay the equivalent of $8 a gallon for bottled WATER at a buck for 16 oz.

As a nation we seem to have forgotten as kids we all drank from the garden hose and everyone had their mouth on the end of the hose.
Now we are so worried about germs we have to sanitize our hands and even the handle on the grocery cart.

Glad my coach doesn’t run on bottled water but I sure do with is ran on water (3/gallon).
