  • Needed: 95/96 Vantare switch light bulb source

Posted by Michael on February 22, 2020 at 7:19 pm

We have a 1995/96 XLV Vantare conversion and many of the push-button switch light bulbs throughout the coach are burned out – making it almost impossible to know what we’re turning on/off until we push a switch/button! It’s become a matter of trial & error finding the correct light, pocket door, generator run/off, floor slide, bay lock/unlock, etc.!

Does anyone have a source and, hopefully a part number for the odd little bulbs? I’ve even done a Google Image Search and come up empty!

If anyone knows the number for these bulbs and/or what they are called, please let me know! I probably need 50 or so.
    Thank you,

Doesn’t that bulb pull out of the housing? If so, it looks like a pretty common bulb.

Good Morning what is the voltage of your bulbs. I am assuming you are talking about the square indicator switches . The bulbs should come out of the housing.

The bulbs, as pictured, come out of the square indicator switches once I remove the colored/labeled lenses, but they cannot be removed from the yellow enclosure. The switch bulbs should be 12V (I’m assuming).

I believe those switches are called Sunmullen. Hope that helps.

    Check with Donny Meyers 407-323-2367

    or Featherlite 407-878-0003

The small bulbs come out (at least on mine) using needle nose pliers and a gentle pull.

Dick – thanks for the tip, but various google searches regarding Sunmullen (or Sun Mullen) come up with nothing related to switches, lights, lamps, etc.

Google Sunmulon and you will get some hits. DeviceTec is the North American distributor.

Follow this link to DeviceTec.net and poke around a bit. They’re located in Denver, if memory serves and most, if not all of their product is to order, and produced in Japan with a 6-8 week lead time. My coach takes a different style bulb (the .pdf link below) from yours, but I think they should be able to offer some help. Give them a call…good folks to work with. 303-690-9044.

I called Greg Courtney at Featherlite Coaches in Sanford, FL. He was able to supply me with some! I bought 20 – they are expensive little buggers, literally worth their weight in gold!

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys!
