AquaHot Service
Drove down to Houston to get Rudy Legette to zero my AquaHot. Found out why his handle is ‘Trainer’. I received one of the best training sessions on the AquaHot a person could ask for. My AquaHot is now in great condition with a new nozzle and fully checked out. Most important, I have learned what each part does and why it does it. If I ever have a problem in the future, at least I can talk with a simblance of intelligence about what Is happening and what part I may need. THANKS RUDY!!!
I now know that if you look up the words “Texas Gentlemen” in your Websters, you should see photos of Rudy and Ralph. Thank you both.
If you need your AquaHot serviced, I recommend you contact Rudy and schedule yourself a Training Session.

I’m enrolled in Rudy’s Distance Learning Classes. He’s helped me several times and I learn more each time. One of these days I may even get to meet him.

For those who have not yet met Rudy, when you do you will find him to not only be a great source of information highly qualified to do service on your AH or Webasto if needed, you will find he is a great guy.
We are very lucky he participates here.

Is Rudy completely dedicated to Aqua-Hot Service? or does he have other lines of service and sales? If Aqua-Hot only, I’d presume his business is beyond motorhomes and coaches. Is the Aqua-Hot used in other applications?

I just service Aqua Hot heaters and an Oasis heater a very few times per year. Since I am familiar with the Webasto burner (50k btu) used in Aqua Hot heaters, I can service Webasto heat exchangers used in Prevosts.
I do not fix any other thing in the RV or bus. But I enjoy fixing the heaters and burners and the good folks I meet while doing so. I fix some things in my motorhome and hire some things. I have not been asked to service a burner in anything except an RV.

This is not my J O B. I am retired. It is a sideline I enjoy but I do not work at this. I use the funds to attend the Oysterfest and other summer travels, fix my motorhome and other things Carolyn and I enjoy spending on.
If it becomes work, I pass. I will even visit with you if you just stop by and do not need any service. So, come on down, please.

I have my eye on a race at COTA which I think is near Austin which is a week after a race at NOLA. Would Wisc to NOLA to Austin and back to Wisconsin put me close to Houston?

Dick, Stop at exit 800 on Interstate 10 East of Houston and I can plug you in to 50 amp service for a night or day or two. Let me know when you are coming and we will be glad to see you all.

The trip from New Orleans to Houston is about 360 miles on flat I-10… (easy six hours depending on how many times you stop to eat craw fish) ….and the trip to Austin is about 160 miles (about 3 hours). The roads in Texas are great… In Austin, there is one RV park on the NW side of Austin (La Hacienda) and it is totally inconvenient to the race course which is on the SE side about 40 miles from the RV park…There is another RV park on South I-35 from downtown Austin (Lone Star RV)… very tight slots but about 25 miles from the track ….Bastrop has a park that would be preferred by far (LOst Pines RV park highway 71)… it is 30 miles East of Austin and it is about 15 to 20 miles back towards Austin to the track… it fills up very quickly… All of these ramp up their rates… If the race you are attending is in the fall…it will be on a football weekend… be prepared… traffic is horrendous… and that does not do it justice…
This may be the time you dry camp… I am not familiar with the RV accommodations at the track.. there could be some there… I hope so…
You did not ask about RV accommodations but this is for your records if you need it…
