Is ETLC starving its employees on purpose?
Some may have read about the problem I have been having a few weeks ago with the bus not accepting a 30 amps connection. A couple of people suggested that I get another dogbone converter plug. I did and that did not change anything. When I went online to research this issue, I learned that it could very well be the transfer switch. The one I have had, is no longer being made and, of course, the company has changed hands once or twice. Jeff at ETLC suggested that he could put in another switch but that I would loose the data ports. That comment made me call Silverleaf and they knew immediately what I was calling about and gave me the current replacement switch information. Long story short. Jeff put it in and the 30 amps issue has gone away. The old switch showed some traces of a potential burn. So that may have been the cause. Anyway, they did not make the data connection right away since they wanted me to be present to look at my displays to confirm I was seeing what I was used to see. The connection was made the following day. By that time, everything had been tidied-up and buttoned-up, already.
NO PROBLEM for Jeff’s staff.
Look at the photo.
Perhaps, it will help you to know that the opening is 9 inches wide and 15 inches high!
