Stacker Trailer Transport
I have a 24ft. stacker trailer that I have sold and need moved to the Detroit area. The new owner lives in Windsor Ontario but will pick it up on the US side or anywhere close to Detroit or somewhere further north. It is at Donnie Myers in Sanford right now and if it can be moved north by the first week in March or sooner, that would be perfect timing.

As I mentioned the trailer is at Donnie Myers in Sanford and is pretty much ready to go at any time. All that is in it are two bikes, and a bike carrier which I will have removed. Much appreciated if you can do this. Here is a picture of the trailer…sorry but I could not figure out how to rotate the picture.

What’s was the tongue weight when it was loaded , and what is the tongue weight when empty, just wondering ???

My stacker is only 20 ft and all aluminim. Empty it’s 300lbs on the tongue. With a 5050 lb 17ft car and a 1500 lb 10ft roadster on top it’s 1600 lbs on the tongue with water and de-ionizer and an extra ball mount and stuff in the upper mezzanine. I don’t carry or have a front tool box like most. You know what tools weigh, you would have to be very careful on the tongue.

Bernie is correct in that tongue weight is marginal when empty. In fact when I had to move it with my F-150, it did not put much sag on the truck at all. I don’t have anything in it except for the tie-down straps. The built-in tool box is empty and all there is up front are the upper and lower cabinets and the two batteries.
PS: Transport of my stacker has finally been taken care of. She leaves for the great white north next week…weather permitting.
