luggage removal
the most fun i have had in a long time is useing a sawsall to remove the upper luggage racks in my bus. i am sure most of you who are smart enuff to purchase a already converted bus probabably dont ever want to experience this. but once removed and you stand back and see the huge space gain it is all worth while. i have just a month left before vacation time and i am running out of build time. still need to install the heaters/espar and the house batteries and inverter.
but i do have the flat screen in place/the bed and a couch so we should be good to go.
thought i would share since i havent been on the site for a while. being a dd/allison/cummins tech keeps me busy up here.
happy bussing and hope i can spend more time on the site soon. i do read it every day just to keep intouch with everything.

Sounds like some real progress. Since placement of things in a coach is absolutely critical on so many levels such as space utilization, weight and balance, access for service, etc. it is not a bad idea to steal designs from converted coaches. The layouts of coaches have evolved over many years to provide the best use of available space, service access, weight distribution and to make the coach user friendly. No sense reinventing the wheel.

for once it has been vary hot up here as well. limits the time a person can do hard labour in a bus. haveing 20 windows dont help either. speaking of pictures how does one go about posting a couple shots.

When you start a thread or reply to a post you can add a picture by clicking on the icon that shows a tree and sun. It is next to the You Tube icon.
Then click on “upload” and a box will drop down to let you browse your photos, open the photo you want and click upload again.

I get tired thinking about the work you have ahead of you. But when you are done you are going to have a great feeling of satisfaction.

every time i do a new part i get a great feeling. and when i am at a camp site and people come to see the bus it is all worth the time and money. this weekend is the trailer hitch and espar heater. need to get ready for the fall camping season
