  • SPECIAL NAPA PRICING FOR MEMBERS

Posted by needtocamp on July 25, 2012 at 1:22 pm
We are extremely pleased to be able to announce a new benefit for registered members of Prevost Community. All members (through the link at the top of the main forum page) can fill out an application which will allow the member to get a PARTS DISCOUNT card entitling the member to fleet pricing on their purchases …….. through all participating NAPA stores. (Some NAPA stores do not participate)
When filling out the application the company name is to be “Prevost Community.” Provide your own personal contact information because the address will be where the card(s) are sent and your email address is where you will be notified and allow temporary access to the program until you get the cards..
This is an excellent program made available to Prevost Community REGISTERED MEMBERS by NAPA, with 6,100 stores throughout the US. NAPA KNOWS YOU HAVE A CHOICE IN PARTS AND THIS FLEET PROGRAM WILL GIVE YOU DISCOUNTED PRICES ON MANY PARTS FOR YOUR PREVOST BUS. We hope you take advantage of it. This is one of the ways we can thank you for being members of Prevost Community.

An email will be sent soon to all registered members with some additional detail regarding this program. If you are not yet registered as a member the link will not be visible and you will only receive the email and gain access when you register.

Hey thanks for the heads up email on this and of course, the above supplied information. That has to be a winner for anyone who does their own maint. on a coach and it is great that it would apply to just about anyone who has a bus.

I will do my level best to see that the information gets out there (to other bus sites) to anyone I know who owns a bus or a RV. I signed up tonight. The button works, and the sign-up proccess is super simple, if an Okie can do it, then it is a piece of cake.

This is a great idea, count me in.

Thanks Jon and Tom for working on this program. I get all of my belts and oils from NAPA already and this will help.

It does not get much easier than the simple application. Thanks for the extra benefit.

    YIPPEE!!!!!!!

For all worried about not getting an email, don’t worry. My new card came today and tomorrow I am going to exercise it. All I have to do is make sure the NAPA store I select participates in the program.

Me too, cards in the mail today. Just in time, heading to Napa tomorrow for air fittings and brass is crazy expensive. Hope they take the card.

Just to be sure everyone who participates in the program understand its scope let me share some understanding I got from the NAPA representative.

Not all NAPA products or parts will be covered by the program. Not all NAPA stores are able to participate. Independently owned NAPA stores may choose to not participate, but NAPA owned stores will. Check first to be sure your favorite store does participate. The cards have specific instructions for the counter man to follow so you can get your discounts so even if the store does participate, the counter man has to follow the procedures.

The bulk of the parts and materials covered will be heavy duty parts common to large commercial vehicles. You can expect deep discounts on parts ranging from air filters to oil filters to belts to coolant meeting our required specs to brake chambers to air bags.

I’m excited about the program and as soon as I can put together a list of the items I usually buy for maintenance on my coach I am going shopping.

I happened by one of the Napa stores
where I live, this is a rural area and the closest one to me is about
10 miles. I took the card in and the guy said he heard of the
program, but never tried it. He took a copy of the back of the card
with the instructions and said next time I come in, it will be all
set up. Couldn’t have been easier. These are franchise stores, not
company. Fortunately I didn’t need to buy anything today, a rare
    occurrence.

I checked the other Napa store today
and they will also accept the card. So that’s 2 independent stores in
my area accepting the fleet card.
